It sounded too good to be true.  A neck gator that would actually keep your neck warm and protected from freezing weather, dry air and wind, while also moisturizing your skin?  What?  However, snowgrrl recently tried the Enjoy & Care neck warmer from the 2015-16 partnership between Roxy apparel and Biotherm laboratories and guess what?  It works.  Awesome “Mountain Armor” to protect our delicate skin from the harsh elements.

Snowgrrl tried this neckwarmer on a nearly empty day on the slopes at Keystone resort – the kind of day where you can get a ton of vertical feet in because there are no lift lines!  The temperature was not particularly frigid, but going down runs still left snowgrrl face to face with wind and chilly air.  The Roxy x Biotherm Enjoy & Care neck warmer took care of that.  The literature touting this item indcates that it contains micro-capsules with Marine-Christe extract, nourishing Shea butter, moisturizing apricot oil and antioxidant Vitamin E.  Snowgrrl wondered how all of that could make its way into a functional garment, but the Keystone day proved that it can!   Once the neck warmer went up, snowgrrl felt encompassed in a cocoon of sweet-smelling softness, and at the end of the day, snowgrrl’s skin felt great.  Even though skin on your neck can be sensitive, this product is not irritating in the least.

Pro showboarder Torah Bright has endorsed the Roxy x Biotherm Enjoy & Care line, saying that she “loves the feeling of extreme softness. . . it’s what a girl should always have.”  We can’t agree more.  It smells wonderful and really makes this snowgrrl wish there was an entire line of clothing with this skin-protecting and softening technology!
