Before the gloomy late-spring weather set in, we had the opportunity to experience some beautiful sunny ski days. I was anxious to get feedback on a Colorado-made product sample that was distributed at SIA: Original Ski Balm sunscreen, one of several innovations in skin care displayed at the trade show. The greasy-looking texture of the product was a turnoff to me and my sensitive skin, but I rounded up some guys who were less squeamish about applying a very thick, shea-butter based formula to their faces.
These SnowMen applied the product at the beginning of the ski day at Keystone Resort, then again at lunch. They didn’t seem to mind the thick texture, and noted that their skin felt very moisturized (and not wind or sun burned) at the end of the day. We all appreciate the fact that it’s made of natural products . If you are looking for a protective, moisturizing product made here in Colorado, be sure to check out the Original Ski Balm!
