Thanks to the hard work of Copper’s snowmaking team over the last week and 14+ inches of natural snow, Copper Mountain will open on Wednesday, Nov. 11 for the 2015/16 winter season. The American Eagle chairlift will start spinning for the general public at 9 a.m. The first 400 guests in line will enjoy free donuts and hot chocolate – mmmmmm!
Guests will enjoy intermediate skiing and riding on trails Rhapsody and Main Vein via the American Eagle chairlift. Easy Rider beginner learning area and Eagle Jib Park are expected to open by Saturday, Nov. 14.
With Copper now opening on Veteran’s Day, the resort will offer free skiing and riding on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to all active or retired military and their dependents. This includes all Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard or retired military and their dependents (spouses and/or children). All military and dependents will be required to show a valid ID at the ticket window at time of purchase.
Thank you, Copper, for honoring out veterans!
